As space permits, frequently in the spring and fall, occasionally in the summer, non-researcher guests may stay at the Station and enjoy outstanding scenery, a multitude of wildlife, and great hiking trails.

 

Lodging

Cabins are available for your stay here at the station.  Click here for RATES and other information.  Please come and take your meals with other naturalists or researchers that use the station.

 

Wildlife

 

Cave Creek Canyon is home to hundreds of species of birds, as well as numerous mammals and reptiles. 

 

Hiking

 

The Coronado National Forest, which surrounds the research station and is a hikers paradise.  Several trails are accessible directly from the station while others can be reached within a short drive.  Visitors who are lodging at the station can request a sack lunch
