My dear Brown:
Glad to hear of your safe arrival, and of the good conditions of the fossils. I will try to arrange for a car; but I fear it will not be an easy matter. It will be necessary for you to leave the most specific instructions regarding their shipment, and I don not want you to come East until this is all carefully addressed, and a full receipt taken.
Mr. Wilbur has not sent us Kellys address. Dr. Matthew fears it will be too late for you to go up to that locality, which is pretty far north; but Wilbur will advise us, and I will let you know immediately.
All goes well here.
With best wishes,
Always sincerely yours,
[Osborn]
Mr. Barnum Brown
