My Dar Dr. Matthew:
Your letter just received by last mail but no word from Prof. Osborn. If he has not sent instructions regarding specimen in Ruby Range please let me hear from you regarding location; how I can reach it best, etc.
Also inquire of Prof. Bumpus if he has sent money $250 for which I worte some time ago. have used up all my own money.
i wrote Prof. Osborn by last mail of the four new specimens which I think will turn out fine. Each one is the greater part of a skeleton. There is a Crocodile badly crushed and partly weathered out while the other there are Rhryucho cephaliarus beautiful specimens, one in each positon. All in the Lignite bed above the Dinosaur horizon, in one little pocket. have prospected vacinity for several miles without further success.
Prof. Osborn in last letter said all the parties had been successful which is gratifying. Would like to hear more of the seasons work.
I must investigate a Jurassic locality now Billings from which I have seen bones in beautiful state of preservation.
Write me at Miles City soon.
With regards to the boys
As ever Yours
