This shows the same exclosure as the previous slide. The two primary foraging plants are Goose grass (Puccinellia phryganodes and Goose Sedge (Carex subspathacea), which are clipped by the geese almost to the ground's surface. Both plant species respond to grazing by sending out more shoots, and side leaves and tillers to form a turf. The flowers inside are those of Egedi' Cinquefoil (Potentilla egedii).
