Dr. W. D. Matthew has been in China with the C. A. E. during the year. On his return trip he
investigated Java fossil localities. Mr. Walter Granger and Mr. George Olsen continued work in China.
15 boxes of fossils were collected in 1925 and prepared in Peking. Mr. Albert Thomson spent 4 months
in Nebraska securing additional material from the Snake Creek beds. Mr. Childs Frick continued
explorations in the Late Tertiary of California and New Mexico. The field party was in charge of Joseph
Rak. Operations were carried on during the winter months in the Miocene deposits near Barstow, CA.
In the spring he resumed work in the area lying to the north of Santa Fe, NM. A total of 53 boxes from
both quarries were shipped to the museum.
