linda j. gormezano memorial fund

Linda’s husband Michael DiBrizzi has established an endowed research fund in her honor at the American Museum of Natural History. Revenue from the fund will support graduate research in the Ornithology Department of AMNH, Linda’s academic home during and after her Doctoral research. The Ornithology Department will formulate and administer the research award program.

First Year Awards

We were able to distribute research awards for $1,000 to $2,000 to 4 students this year to help them get their PH.D. research off the ground.

This years awardees are: Lucas R. Moreira, Kaiya L. Provost, Lais A. Coelho and Lukas Musher.
