Description: Flattened spiders. The ALS are conical, sclerotized, separated at base with sclerotized subdistal ring. The PLS are shorter than ALS, with short apical segment. Some genera have extremely elongated fourth trochanter. The carapace is wider than long. The IV coxae are slightly elongate. The legs are laterigrade. The metatarsi and tarsi of legs I and II are lightly scopulate.

Distribution: Southern and east Asia, Africa, South America, and Australia.
