Pluto's Planethood
Pluto, many people's favorite planet, was demoted from this status in August 2006 at an international meeting of astronomers in Prague. It's now, officially, a "dwarf planet" and the planet-count in the solar system drops to Eight. This headline-making decision drew extensive comments from the broadcast press, newspapers, and school children. What is your view?
