Research Interests:

Darrin has been employed at the museum since 1991. While working in the department of mammalogy he has conducted field research in French Guiana, Peru, Dominican Republic, Uganda, Central African Republic, Vietnam, and Laos. Darrin's current research interests include the taxonomy and distribution of the small mammals (rodents, shrews and bats), and in developing systematic collections and taxonomic capacity worldwide.
