Comment

Placed into the synonymy of Pseudoeurycea by Frost, Grant, Faivovich, Bain, Haas, Haddad, de Sá, Channing, Wilkinson, Donnellan, Raxworthy, Campbell, Blotto, Moler, Drewes, Nussbaum, Lynch, Green, and Wheeler, 2006, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 297: 178; Vieites, Román, Wake, and Wake, 2011, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 59: 632, suggested that existing data might be wrong and retained Ixalotriton.
