Rhacophorus robustus Boulenger, 1909, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 4: 494. Syntypes: BMNH ("several specimens"), MCZ 15412 (exchanged from BMNH according to Barbour and Loveridge, 1946, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 96: 185). Type locality: "Kankau (sea-level), Alikang (about 3000 feet), and Kosempo (about 5000 feet)", Taiwan, China.
