Junior homonym of Walkerana Otte & Perez-Gelabert in Otte, 2009 (insecta) (this earlier name shown to be a nomen nudum by Dubois, 2017, Zootaxa, 4237: 1). .

Distribution
Known only from the Western Ghats of Kerala and Tamil Nadu south of the Palghat Gap, India.
