Hylarana centropeninsularis Chan, Brown, Lim, Ahmad, and Grismer, 2014, Herpetologica, 70: 231. Holotype: ZRC 1.10536, by original designation. Type locality: "Sungai Temir, within the Lakum forest reserve, Raub, Pahang, Malaysia". 

Pulchrana centropeninsularis — Oliver, Prendini, Kraus, and Raxworthy, 2015, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 90: 188 (provisional arrangement). 

Hylarana centropeninsularis — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 538, by implication.

None noted. 

Distribution

Known from two adjacent localities in central Peninsular Malaysia: Sungai Temir (= Temir River), Lakum Forest Reserve, Raub Pahang, and Kuala Gandah, Lanchang, Pahang; also reported from Hutan Harapan, Jambi Province, Indonesia (Sumatra).

Comment

In the Hylarana signata complex, previously confused with Hylarana siberu, according to the original publication. Reported from Sumatra by Arifin, Cahyadi, Smart, Jankowski, and Haas, 2018, Raffles Bull. Zool., 66: 280.
