Comment

See brief account and photo by Manthey and Grossmann, 1997, Amph. Rept. Südostasiens: 88. Inger and Iskandar, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., 53: 137, provided a record for West Sumatra. Cai, Che, Pang, Zhao, and Zhang, 2007, Zootaxa, 1531: 49-55, regarded Huia sumatrana to be possibly phylogenetically outside of a group composed of Meristogenys and the remainder of Huia.
