Distribution

Mount Wutong and 30 km away on Mount Paiya, Zhenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, in low to mid-elevation (60–500 m) rocky, fast-flowing streams surrounded by moist subtropical secondary evergreen broadleaved forest. 

Comment

The sister taxon of Amolops wuyiensis + Amolops ricketti according to the original publication.
