Phrynobatrachus chukuchuku Zimkus, 2009, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 157: 801. Holotype: MCZ A-138127, by original designation. Type locality: "Cameroon, Northwest Region, Mt Oku, near summit, 06°11′N, 10°31′E (WGS datum), 2800 m elevation".
