Micryletta nigromaculata Poyarkov, Nguyen, Duong, Gorin, and Yang, 2018, PeerJ, 6 (e5771): 9. Holotype: ZMMU A5934, by original designation. Black-spotted Paddy Frog (original publication). 

Distribution

Known from limestone karst areas covered by primary tropical forest on either sides of the Red River Valley in northern Vietnam, specifically in Cat Ba National Park, Hai Phong Province, and Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh Province at elevations 90–150 m elevation.  

Comment

The sister taxon of the remaining species of Micryletta according to the original publication.
