Kalophrynus orangensis Dutta, Ahmed, and Das, 2000, Hamadryad, 25: 68. Holotype: ZSIC A9087, by original designation. Type locality: "Orang National Park (26° 30′ N; 92° 15′ E), Darrang District, Assam, north-eastern India".

Distribution

Currently known only from Assam and West Bengla, India, as will as in Bangladesh, although expected to occur more widely.

Rev., 38: 348, provided a record for Bangladesh (as Kalophrynus interlineatus). Ahmed, Das, and Dutta, 2009, Amph. Rept. NE India: 30, provided a brief account for northeastern India. Mathew and Sen, 2010, Pict. Guide Amph. NE India: 62, provided a brief characterization and photographs. See account by Zug, 2015, Proc.
