Hoplophryne rogersi Barbour and Loveridge, 1928, Mem. Mus. Comp. Zool., 50: 258. Holotype: MCZ 13814, by original designation. Type locality: "in wild banana in the rain-forest on Mt. Bomoli near the Institute of Amani, Usambara Mountains, Tanganyika Territory [Tanzania]".

Distribution

Lowland and montane forest in the Usambara, Magrotto, and Nguru mountains, Tanzania, 600–1200 m elevation.
