Altigius alios Wild, 1995, Copeia, 1995: 838. Holotype: KU 215544, by original designation. Type locality: "Reserva Cuzco Amazónico, north bank of the Río Madre de Dios, about 15 km ENE of Puerto Maldonado, Provincia de Tambopata, Departamento de Madre de Dios, Perú (12° 33′ S, 69° 03′ W), 200 m".

None noted.

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Madre de Dios, Peru), Chivé, Cachuela, Bolivia, an imprecise locality in northern La Paz Province, Bolivia, and Cachoeira do Morrinho, Municpiality of Porto Velho, Rondônia, and, in lowland rainforest; presumably more widespread than current records suggest.

De la Riva, Köhler, Lötters, and Reichle, 2000, Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 14: 57, and Köhler, 2000, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 48: 69, consider this species possibly to occur in Bolivia. Duellman, 2005, Cusco Amazonico: 294–295, provided an account (adult and larval morphology, life history). Simões, Kaefer, and Lima, 2011, Herpetol. Notes, 4: 141-142, provided a range extension to Rondonia, Brazil, and noted the existence of a record for northern Bolivia. Gonzales-Álvarez and Reichle, 2004, Rev. Boliviana Ecol. Conserv. Ambiental, 15: 93–96, provided a record for Chivé, Bolivia.
