Chiasmocleis capixaba Cruz, Caramaschi, and Izecksohn, 1997, Alytes, 15: 62. Holotype: MNRJ 17514, by original designation. Type locality: "Aracruz (19° 59′ S, 40° 12′ W; ca. 60 m altitude), state of Espírito Santo, Brazil".
