Liophryne miniafia Kraus, 2014, J. Herpetol., 48 : 256. Holotype: BPBM 39929, by original designation. Type locality: "south slope of Mt. Trafalgar, Oro Province, Papua New Guinea (19.19068S, 149.16118E), elevation 1,045 m."

Sphenophryne miniafia — Rivera, Kraus, Allison, and Butler, 2017, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 112: 4, by implication of the synonymy of Liophryne with Sphenophryne.

Asterophrys miniafia — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 547, by implication.

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality on the southern flank of Mount Trafalgar (Oro Province, Papua New Guinea) at elevations of 830–1045 m; presumably to be found at higher elevations and possibly on the upper slopes of Mount Victory as well.
