Cophixalus daymani Zweifel, 1956, Am. Mus. Novit., 1766: 39. Holotype: AMNH 56879, by original designation. Type locality: "at an elevation of 2330 meters (7320 feet) on the north slope of Mt. Dayman, Maneau Range, Territory of Papua [Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea]".

Asterophrys daymani — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 479, by implication.
