Albericus valkuriarum Menzies, 1999, Aust. J. Zool., 47: 356. Holotype: UP 9454, by original designation. Type locality: "Mid-montane forest near Hidden Valley mining camp (7° 27′ S, 146° 40′ E), 14 km south-east of Wau, Morobe Province, altitude 2400 m,", Papua New Guinea.

Asterophrys valkuriarum — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 477, by implication.

Eastern part of the central cordillera of New Guinea from the Ekuti Dividing Range south of Wau to Myola in the Owen Stanley Range, above 2000 m, Papua New Guinea.
