Barygenys flavigularis Zweifel, 1972, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 148: 43. Holotype: AMNH 82903, by original designation. Type locality: "Mt. Kaindi, Morobe District [Morobe Province], Territory of New Guinea [Papua New Guinea], at an elevation of about 7500 ft. (2280 m.)".

English Names

Yellow-throated Papua Frogs (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 87).

Distribution

Known from mountains in the vicinity of Wau, including Mount Missim, Mount Kaindi, and the Ekuti Dividing Range, above 2100 m elevation, Papua New Guinea.
