Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the tipe of the Huon Peninsula, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.

Records for Australia result from misidentifications (Zweifel, 1962, Am. Mus. Novit., 2113: 1-40). Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 222-223, provided a brief account.
