Comment

The record for this species from New Britain (Tyler, 1967, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 91: 188) is thought to pertain to an undescribed species (Zweifel, 1980, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 165: 393-434). Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 220-221, provided a brief account.
