Megophrys damrei Mahony, 2011, Zootaxa, 2734: 25. Holotype: BMNH 1972.1524, by original designation; corrected to BMNH 1972.1522 by Mahony, 2011, Zootaxa, 2924: 68. Type locality: "'Bockor [=Bokor] Plateau, 1000m, Elephant Mts., [Kampot] Cambodia'".

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (now Bokor Plateau, 1000 m elevation, Kampot District, Kampot Province, southeast Cardamom Mountains, southern Cambodia).

Comment

Confused with Megophrys parva according to the original publication. Neang, Chhin, Meang, and Hun, 2014 "2013", Cambodian J. Nat. Hist., 2013: 66–72, commented on additional specimens of this species from the vicinity of the type localty. Not assigned to species group by Lyu, Zeng, Wang, Liu, Huang, Li, and Wang, 2021, Zootaxa, 4927: 9–40. Placed in the Xenophrys lekagulii group by Lyu, Qi, Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Zeng, Wan, Yang, Mo, and Wang, 2023, Zool. Res., Kunming, 44: 395.
