Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Binling, Honya County, central Sichuan, China, 1480 m elevation).

Comment

Most similar to Megophrys omeimontis according to the original publication. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 183, provided a brief account including photographs. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2012, Colored Atlas Chinese Amph. Distr.: 211, provided an account, photographs, and a range map for China. Fei and Ye, 2016, Amph. China, 1: 709–711, provided an account, photographs, and dot map, as Xenophrys binlingensis.
