Distribution

Known only from the region of the type locality (Loc Bac forest, Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, 800 to 1100 m elevation).

Comment

The sister taxon of Leptolalax bidoupensis according to the original publication. In the Leptolalax applebyi group according to Rowley, Tran, Le, Dau, Peloso, Nguyen, Hoang, Nguyen, and Ziegler, 2016, Zootaxa, 4085: 63–102.
