Type locality: "clay bank 1.5 m from headwaters of 1–2m wide rocky, medium gradient, high–flow stream in evergreen forest in Kon Ka Kinh National Park, Gia Lai Province, Vietnam (14.2258° N, 108.3230° E; 1162 m elevation . . . )". Known only from Kon Ka Kinh National Park, in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam.
