Pleurodema tucumana Parker, 1927, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 9, 20: 468. Holotype: BMNH 1902.7.29.75, by original designation, now renumbered 1947.2.17.85 according to museum records. Type locality: "Tapia, Tucuman, Argentina, 2300 feet".
