Channing and Howell, 2006, Amph. E. Afr.: 151–152, provided an account (as Hyperolius argentovittis). See comments by Pickersgill, 2007, Frog Search: 407–408. See comment on Hyperolius albofasciatus by Broadley, 2007, Afr. J. Herpetol., 56: 175–177. Mercurio, 2011, Amph. Malawi: 160–165 (as Hyperolius marmoratus marginatus) and 200–205 (as Hyperolius viridiflavus albofasciatus), provided accounts for Malawi. See general discussion of the Hyperolius viridiflavus–parallelus–marginatus group by Schiøtz, 1999, Treefrogs Afr.: 206–228, and specifically to the forms he treats as Reesi, Argentovittis, Marginatus, and Melanoleucus). Harper, Measey, Patrick, Menegon, and Vonesh, 2010, Field Guide Amph. E. Arc Mts. Tanzania and Kenya: 200–201, provided a brief account as Hyperolius reesi and photograph.
