Distribution

Known only from the type locality in Amazonian Bolivia and also from the Departamento de Madre de Dios, Peru.

In the Scinax ruber group according to the original publication. The Scinax ruber group rejected as nonmonophyletic by Faivovich, 2002, Cladistics, 18: 367-393.
