Distribution

In disjunct populations from on both Atlantic and Pacific slopes from Veracruz, adjacent Puebla, and Guerrero through Chiapas, Mexico, to the Maya Mountains of Belize, Guatemala, northwestern Honduras, and El Salvador, 200 to 2130 m elevation.
