Dendropsophus shiwirarum Ortega-Andrade and Ron, 2013, Zootaxa, 3652: 164. Holotype: DHMECN 4393, by original designation. Type locality: "Kurintza, 2.060° S, 76.780° W, 354–m elevation, Pastaza province, Republic of Ecuador".
Distribution
Evergreen forest of eastern Ecuador in the = provinces of Napo, Orellana, Pastaza and Sucumbíos, up to 550 m elevation; likely into adjacent northeastern Peru (Departamento de Loreto).
Comment
In the Dendropsophus microcephalus group and confused with Dendropsophus riveroi prior to its naming according to the original publication.
