Distribution

Amazon basin of Ecuador (Napo, Orellana, Pastaza, and Sucumbíos provinces), Peru (Región de Madre de Dios), 186 to 354 m elevation, and upper Japurá River, Amazonas, Brazil, into adjacent southern Colombia (Amazonas: Municipality of Leticia; Meta: Sierra de la Macarena National Park).  

Comment

In the Hypsiboas calcaratus complex, according to the original publication. Rojas-Zamora, Carvalho, Ávila, Almeida, Oliveira, Menin, and Gordo, 2017, Herpetozoa, Wien, 30: 108–114, provided the first record for Brazil. Acosta-Galvis, Lasso, and Morales-Betancourt, 2018, Check List, 14: 549–554, provided and discussed the Colombia records.
