Distribution

Misiones and adjacent Corrientes provinces in northeastern Argentina and in adjacent southeastern Paraguay to Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil; isolated population in São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
