Stefania ginesi Rivero, 1968 "1966", Caribb. J. Sci., 6: 145. Holotype: FMNH 74041, by original designation. Type locality: "Chimanta-tepui, [Estado Bolívar,] Venezuela, rock outcrops near E. branch of headwater Río Tirica, 7300 ft."

Distribution

Chimantá-tepui, 1850-2600 m elevation, in southeastern Venezuela (see comment).

Conserv., 10(1: Special Section): 5– 12, noted that populations from Abakapá-tepui and Amurí-tepui represent unnamed species.  Kok, Russo, Ratz, Means, MacCulloch, Lathrop, Aubret, and Bossuyt, 2017, J. Biogeograph., 44: 170–181, noted several unnamed species covered by this species name.
