Williamson's Marsupial Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 53).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the north-central coastal lowlands of Venezuela.

Comment

Superficially similar to Gastrotheca longipes but of uncertain phylogenetic position, according to Duellman, Maxson, and Jesiolowski, 1988, Copeia, 1988: 527-543. See account by Rivero, 1961, Bull.
