Gastrotheca (Gastrotheca) spectabilis Duellman and Venegas, 2016, Phyllomedusa, 15: 108. Holotype: CORBIDI 11790, by original designation. Type locality: "Hornillo, 6°30′05'' S, 77° 29′ 04.9″ W, 3308 m, Distrito de Vista Alegre, Provincia Rodríguez de Mendoza, Departamento de Amazonas, Peru".
