Confused with Anomaloglossus tepuyensis prior to its naming according to the original publication. See Cole, Townsend, Reynolds, MacCulloch, and Lathrop, 2013, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 125: 372-373, for brief account and records for Guyana.
