Allobates grillisimilis Simões, Sturaro, Peloso, and Lima, 2013, Zootaxa, 3609: 254. Holotype: INPA-H 30779, by original designation. Type locality: "Ramal Novo Horizonte, about 5 km southwest of the city of Borba, on the right bank of the Madeira River (04° 26′ 03″ S, 59° 37′ 25″ W), State of Amazonas, Brazil".

Distribution

Primary terra-firme forests of the northwestern Madeira-Tapajós interfluvial, in Brazil; limited west and north by the large Madeira and Amazon rivers, respectively and not known to occur in localities south of the municipality of Borba.

Comment

Most similar to Allobates caeruleodactylus, Allobates conspicuus, Allobates granti, Allobates spumaponens, Allobatessubfolionidificans, and Allobates sumtuosus, according to the original publication, where the advertisement call was described as well.
