Batrachylodes gigas Brown and Parker, 1970, Breviora, 346: 11. Holotype: MCZ 73764, by original designation. Type locality: "Lake Loloru area, at 4300 feet elevation, on Bougainville Island, Solomon Islands", Papua New Guinea.
