Hyalinobatrachium mesai Barrio-Amorós and Brewer-Carias, 2008, Zootaxa, 1942: 18. Holotype: EBRG 4644, by original designation. Type locality: "from Locality VI on the southern slope of Sarisariñama-tepui, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela (4º 25′ N, 64º 7′ W), elevation 420 m".
