Centrolene notostictum Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 58: 13. Holotype: ICN 12632, by original designation. Type locality: "Departamento de Santander, vertiente occidental de la Cordillera Oriental, municipio de Charalá, Virolín (=Inspección de Policía de Cañaverales), sitio "El Encino" ca. cabaceras Río Luisito, 6° 13′ Latitud N, 73° 05′ W de Greenwich, 1750 m.", Colombia.

Distribution

On the western slope of the Eastern Andes, from Chinácaota (Norte de Santander), south through Santander to the municipality of Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca), Colombia, 1661-2440 m elevation; Sierra de Perijá, Zulia, Venezula.

Comment

In the Centrolene prosoblepon group according to the original publication. Rojas-Runjaic, Infante-Rivero, and Cabello, 2012, Check List, 8: 819-825, provided Venezuelan records and commented on the range.
