Rhamphophryne tenrec Lynch and Renjifo, 1990, J. Herpetol., 24: 364. Holotype: ICN 13840, by original designation. Type locality: "near Campamento Ingeominas (ca. 6°42′N, 76°27′W), near the headwaters of Rio Amparradó, Municipio Dabeiba, Departamento Antioquia, Colombia, 805 m elevation".

Known only from the type locality on the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental, Departamento Antioquia, Colombia, 805 m elevation.

Comment
