Comment

One has to wonder in what alternate universe the author of this "1993" publication could cite an expedition that took place in 1994 as well as papers that appeared in 1994. All evidence points to a 1995 publication date (DRF). Myers and Donnelly, 2008, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 308: 26-29, provided an account. See map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 199. Señaris, Lampo, Rojas-Runjaic, and Barrio-Amorós, 2014, Guía Ilust. Anf. Parque Nac. Canaima: 50–51, provided a brief account and photograph. See Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Señaris, 2019, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 13 (1: e180): 11, for remarks on distribution, possibility of extinction, and literature.
