Atelopus petriruizi Ardila-Robayo, 1999, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 23: 141. Holotype: ICN 34269, by original designation. Type locality: "Colombia. Departamento del Caquetá, Municipio San Vicente del Caguán. Inspección de policía Guayabal, vereda San Jorge, quebrada San Jorge. ca. 2° 50′ latitud N. 74° 52′ longitud W de Greenwich. 1600 m. s.n.m."

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Departamento del Caquetá, Colombia), 1750-2500 m elevation.

In the Atelopus longirostris group, most similar to Atelopus minutulus, according to the original publication.
