Amazophrynella javierbustamantei Rojas-Zamora, Chaparro, Carvalho, Ávila, Farias, Hrbek, and Gordo, 2016, ZooKeys, 563: 50. Holotype : MHNC 8331, by original deignation. Distribution

Known from the Department of Cusco, in the lower Urubamba river basin and Department of Madre de Dios (Inambari, Candamo and Nueva Arequipa) in Peru, 215 to 708 m in elevation. 

Comment

In the Amazophrynella minuta complex, the sister taxon of Amazophrynella matses according to the original publicaiton.
